After 20 years working in retail and giftware, Kathryn Millar decided that the time was right to follow her dream of training as a professional florist. The Flower Room opened for business in 2010 in a beautifully converted outbuilding at her home in Helen’s Bay.
As the order book grew, The Flower Room took on a life of its own and Kathryn expanded and opened her own florist and giftware shop in Holywood, Co.Down.
Located just of High Street, in a beautiful traditional red brick terrace, The Flower Room is a firm favourite in Holywood with a constant stream of happy visitors popping in and out for flowers, a scented candle, a little gift or sometimes just a chat! Customers or just callers-in, one thing is for sure, everyone leaves The Flower Room with a smile and a spring in their step!
